Introducing Tsedal AI
A new name and identity. ጸዳል (tsedal) means radiance in Amharic, and our new mark is light bursting from a halo. Same assistant, brighter look.
Private beta sign-ups open
Developers can now request access to the private beta. We're welcoming new users in small groups.
Smarter routing
- Questions that look hard, like stack traces and refactors, are moved up to Smart automatically.
- If every Smart model is busy, your request is answered in Fast instead of failing.
- More frontier models added to the lineup, including GPT and Kimi.
Autocomplete and a lightweight model for small tasks
- Fill-in-the-middle autocomplete that reads the code before and after your cursor.
- Commit messages, docstrings and renames are handled by a fast, lightweight model.
First release
Chat, inline edits and streaming answers in VS Code, with Fast, Smart and Max modes and automatic failover between models.
