Terms of use and privacy

What we store

We do not store your prompts, your code, files you attach or the assistant's answers. For each request we keep only a usage record: your account, the time, which tier and model answered, how many tokens were used, what it cost, how long it took and whether it succeeded. We use these records to enforce usage limits, manage the shared budget and show you how many requests you have left.

Where your code and prompts go

To answer a request, the text you send (your question or task, any files you attach, and the code the extension includes as context) is processed by the AI model that answers it. Models come from the companies below; which one answers depends on the mode, the task and availability. Each company processes that text under its own terms and privacy policy, and may do so in other countries.

This list is kept up to date automatically.

What you should not send

Do not send passwords, API keys, private keys, customers' personal data, or code you are not allowed to share with third parties. If your employer or client restricts sharing source code with outside services, check with them before using Tsedal AI on that code.

Usage limits

Each account has usage allowances for each mode, shown in the extension, which we may change over time. To keep the service available for everyone, requests may sometimes be answered in a different mode, and access may be paused for a period.

Your access key and account

Your access key is personal. Do not share it or use it outside the VS Code extension. We may suspend an account or revoke access that is shared, abused or used to get around usage allowances. A lost key is replaced, not recovered.

Beta access requests

If you request beta access on our website, we keep your name, email address and the optional details you give so we can contact you about access. Ask us at any time to delete them.

No warranty

AI answers can be wrong, insecure or incomplete. Review and test everything before you rely on it. The service is provided as is, without a guarantee of availability, and you remain responsible for the code you ship.
